Ocean's love of training began while working with COPE Service Dogs. She received multiple awards for matching her expertly-trained Golden Retrievers with people with disabilities from across the region.  Upon training her first herding dog NIKA (a Border collie X/Australian Shepherd), she added Purebred Aussie PRAIRIE to the mix. A Certified Trick Dog Instructor(CTDI) with Do More With Your Dog, and a member of the CKC, AAC, and player team with Updog, she will have completed the Karen Pryor Academy, Dog Trainer Professional program by October 2020.

In addition to placements in International League Toss and Fetch competitions, titles accumulated thus far include:

• Herding Instincts Test (HIC)
• Novice(NTD), Intermediate(ITD), Advanced(ATD) and Expert(ETD) trick dog
• Agility: ADC, AADC, SGDC, AGDC + many points and achievements in Updog competitions.
