Catherine McKay

Catherine came to Pet Country Estate as a volunteer in 2003, and has been working since Spring of 2005. Catherine just loves being surrounded by animals all the time. Catherine is currently in grade 11, and lives with in her words “a ton of animals in my house”. Catherine is pictured here with the largest member of her menagerie Storm.

Catherine is full of energy enjoying hobbies of horseback riding, snowboarding and swimming. Catherine believes that from her experience gained at Pet Country Estate, she would like to have a career in working with animals.

Catherine’s ambition is that she one day will be a zoologist, so that she can work with more than just domestic animals.
