COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Pet Country Estate has 'TAKEN THE LEAD', fundraising to provide Guide Dogs for Blind & Visually-impaired Canadians since 2004

The goal is to secure funds to be allocated to assist visually compromised individuals within our local community.
Each year upwards of 1,000 people attend “Family Day” celebrations on site.
2004 raised $5,033.00
2005 raised $6,595.75
2006 raised $10,168.00
2007 raised $10,055.52
2008 raised $10,398.13
2009 raised $10,021.50
In the past six years $52,271.90 has been raised.
With this result of funds raised Pet Country Estate,
with thanks to all supporters of
“Paws for a Cause”
has managed to sponsor a total of ten guide dogs for the community.
Each year working guide dog teams are on site;


Various dog demonstrations are conducted;



There are fabulous artisan and vendor displays;









A large silent auction;


Fabulous raffle items;



Food, beverages & entertainment for the whole family;










The renowned golden and sheltie parade led by the Royal Canadian Legion Brach 547, Innisfil Pipes & Drums, and Gilford Lions.



A wonderful tribute to the visually compromised & Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind;
