Shelby Mackie

BRANDY MacDONALD not only grew up around animals, she worked at her Grandparents farm selling eggs/veggies; caring for and feeding livestock: cows, chickens, hens, ducks and even a donkey!

She also volunteered at the SPCA, and after high school became involved in food industry customer service - until she became a stay-at-home mom. She would eventually begin working in animal care and complete her Canine Foundations training this fall.

"I've been fortunate to gain hands-on experience & hone my skills as a Pet Country Estate Kennel Assistant.  My goal is to enrich the lives of animals in my care, the way animals have always enriched mine.”

OCEANNA TOOLE is a former Pet Country Estate Volunteer who now works as one of our Kennel & Daycare  Assistants. Seen here attending to a future COPE Service Dog, she remains keenly interested in both horses & dogs.  Once she finishes high school, Oceana knows the skills & experience she acquires as part of our team, will go a long way towards helping her continue her studies in the animal care industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her own 3 dogs, in addition to caring for all of the animals who call Pet Country Estate "Home".  Her eventual goal is quite admirable. One day, she hopes to operate her very own "No-Kill Shelter".
