Shelby has been with Pet Country Estate since 2008, first as a volunteer then being recruited as an animal caregiver in 2009; Shelby loves working with the dogs. She specifically enjoys obedience & agility training partnering with Pet Country Estate’s golden retriever, Maggie.

Shelby has had a passion for animals her whole life with a main focus on dogs. She has owned many animals throughout the years. She currently enjoys the company of her 4 year old Golden Retriever, Koda, along with her bunny and lovebird. She also has many foster dogs stay with her from Golden Rescue. In the future, she plans on continuing to work with animals. She would like to work somewhere along the lines of rescue and rehabilitation.

Shelby is currently in grade ten and attends Innisdale Secondary School. In her personal life, she enjoys music, which includes playing piano, guitar, and singing. She also enjoys photography, theatre, and visual arts.
