BRANDY MacDONALD not only grew up around animals, she worked at her Grandparents farm selling eggs/veggies; caring for and feeding livestock: cows, chickens, hens, ducks and even a donkey!

She also volunteered at the SPCA, and after high school became involved in food industry customer service - until she became a stay-at-home mom. She would eventually begin working in animal care and complete her Canine Foundations training this fall.

"I've been fortunate to gain hands-on experience & hone my skills as a Pet Country Estate Kennel Assistant.  My goal is to enrich the lives of animals in my care, the way animals have always enriched mine.”

OCEANNA TOOLE is a former Pet Country Estate Volunteer who now works as one of our Kennel & Daycare  Assistants. Seen here attending to a future COPE Service Dog, she remains keenly interested in both horses & dogs.

Once she finishes high school, Oceana knows the skills & experience she acquires as part of our team, will go a long way towards helping her continue her studies in the animal care industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her own 3 dogs, in addition to caring for all of the animals who call Pet Country Estate "Home".  Her eventual goal is quite admirable. One day, she hopes to operate her very own "No-Kill Shelter".

Hired upon completion of his 5-month high school co-op program LUKE McGANN is a quick learner, who's always happy to lend a hand. Involved in all facets of kennel work & doggie daycare, he even tackles small repairs and property maintenance.

His THANK YOU letter to Kennel Supervisor Pattie Page speaks volumes about his time, commitment and dedication. Currently studying to become a Developmental Support Worker, Luke's affection for animals is infectious; while his work-ethic and attitude towards others is second-to-none. Interestingly enough, his diverse hobbies include: diving and drumming.
